Music UP

We’re thrilled to bring you a free app that can be used for your mobile phone or tablet. The app is called Music UP, it will help you stay connected with the latest events at Fran’s House. Music UP provides a calendar showing who will be playing at Fran’s House. With the app you can use the calendar to lookup when artists will be playing and get background information about the artists’ songs.

Another great feature is: you can receive notifications about specials for the week. You’ll get the first opportunity to see what promotions are happening.  Plus, you can show us you’re a member of Fran’s House to receive awesome drinks specials; all you have to do is show us a screen shot from your phone.  Sign up and continue to jam at Fran’s House! 

Las Vegas Night

We are offering an exclusive night of free entertainment as a way of thanking you for being our customer. On Friday May 1, starting at 6pm we will have a Las Vegas themed night. We will be featuring artists who won Mic Night in the month of April; expect a variety of musical styles. During the night, we will have games set up with prizes from area sponsors; plus, you could win front stage tickets for the ‘Women that Rock’ concert! We will be featuring Vegas style games: Black Jack, Texas Hold’em, and Poker just to name a few.

Let's Support Earth Week!

We have an awesome way to celebrate Earth Week. Help us clean up our city of Altoona by picking up trash on April 25, starting at 8am. Fran's House will provide lunch for all the volunteers who help us clean up our environment. Also, you'll receive a free drink coupon and admission to our Saturday Earthy Show.

Our Earthy Show will be April 25 at 5pm and will include the Mic Night Winner of the week as the featured artist! Weather permitting, we will have our first concert of the season on the patio. Plus half priced drinks for the volunteers all night! Please join us for a great night of relaxing entertainment on the patio, and celebrate Earth Week!

Celebrating Women That ROCK!

Please watch our commerical to find out who will be playing at Fran's House on May 30. We're celebrating Women that Rock at Fran's House. Our lineup is filled with the hotest women that know how to rock. Tickets are on sale for $89 in advance and $100 at the door. John Kleven is Going to be Rockin' Tomorrow!

Fran's House winner, John Kleven, from Mic Night last Thursday, discussed his 28 year music playing background and prefered style of music. Plus you'll find out how John named his band. John also talked about what to expect to hear at Fran's House Saturday March 21, at 8pm. 

Ticket prices are normally $20, this week we're having a special SALE for $15. This week, $5 of the ticket proceeds go towards Bolton Refuge House in Eau Claire. The money is going for a great cause to help victims of domestic violence and sexual assault.

Bonding with Music Lovers

Thank you for coming to the Nickelback show last night! Everyone had a great time! And it was awesome to bond with fans and friends at a more personal level on their musical interests. . Fran’s House is now on Last.fm! Last.fm  has streaming music, videos, radio, events, and charts built into the social network. 

Last.fm lets you first chose the artists you like, and then receive suggestions about what other artists and genres you might also enjoy listening. You can create your own radio station based on the artists and/or songs you chose. You can make and share playlists, build a free media library, and more. If you want to purchase a song, Last.fm provides links to sites like: iTunes Store, 7digital music services, and others. The best part of the website is, you can find out about the artists' upcoming tour schedule. Plus you find out if there is a concert close to your home! Music, Drinks, and Photography

On Thursday during our Mic Night, En Trance Design and Photography and Fran’s House are bringing you the opportunity to win a free photo shoot. Mic Night

Thank you for attending our open house last weekend, it was a huge success! Starting this week, come to Fran’s House on Thursdays at 8pm to showcase your musical talent. We will have open mic night for our local artists with a 30 minute session. Each week you will have the opportunity to be the headliner for Saturday night’s show. Plus, you could be chosen by our national recording artist for the month to perform as the opener! How cool would that be to be jamming with the hottest bands? This is great opportunity to build a platform of your musical talents and possible connections.

You could be chosen to be the opening act for Nickelback on February 28!  Please call (715)990-1514 at least two days in advance to reserve your 30 minute session. Please arrive at least one hour before your stage time so you can check out the other musicians; also, we want you to be ready when it’s your turn so can keep the music and entertainment running smoothly.  Mic Night is open to solo musicians and bands alike. Come one, come all, and show us what you’ve got!

Fran's House will be rocking, so join the fun!

Open house will be February 7. At 6pm the opener will be Forest Ridge. Forest Ridge is a local bluegrass band that has become a favorite in central Wisconsin. 

The feature for the night will be Layne Yost at 8pm. He is local artist and well known to play music from the great John Denver. 

The headliner for the night is the Big Deeks! This band will be bring energy to the shows that you'll enjoy with your rock 'n' roll favorites. 

We will be having raffles through out the evening to win great prizes that include:

• gas cards
• gift certificates to area business
• front row tickets to future shows at Fran's House

What is Fran's House

Fran's House was built in collaborated effort with local musicians and music enthusiast to provide a  delightful experience for entertainment. There are many talented local artists that need a venue where they can perform and display their talents, we provide that environment. Every Thursday, we have open mic night where you can sing and have the opportunity to perform with the headliner of the week. 

We were concerned about people traveling 90 minutes to see a concert, so we wanted to provide a place where people could see local artists without a long travel time. Also, we are open year-round, so fans and artists don't have to wait for the summer season for the country music festivals. We have been fortunate to start bringing national recording artists to the Chippewa Valley. Through your entertainment experience we have many food and beverage vendors available. Stay tuned for the upcoming weeks, we're  excited to announce our line up for the upcoming months.
