John Kleven is Going to be Rockin' Tomorrow!

Fran's House winner, John Kleven, from Mic Night last Thursday, discussed his 28 year music playing background and prefered style of music. Plus you'll find out how John named his band. John also talked about what to expect to hear at Fran's House Saturday March 21, at 8pm. 

Ticket prices are normally $20, this week we're having a special SALE for $15. This week, $5 of the ticket proceeds go towards Bolton Refuge House in Eau Claire. The money is going for a great cause to help victims of domestic violence and sexual assault.

Bonding with Music Lovers

Thank you for coming to the Nickelback show last night! Everyone had a great time! And it was awesome to bond with fans and friends at a more personal level on their musical interests. . Fran’s House is now on Last.fm! Last.fm  has streaming music, videos, radio, events, and charts built into the social network. 

Last.fm lets you first chose the artists you like, and then receive suggestions about what other artists and genres you might also enjoy listening. You can create your own radio station based on the artists and/or songs you chose. You can make and share playlists, build a free media library, and more. If you want to purchase a song, Last.fm provides links to sites like: iTunes Store, 7digital music services, and others. The best part of the website is, you can find out about the artists' upcoming tour schedule. Plus you find out if there is a concert close to your home! Music, Drinks, and Photography

Mic Night

Thank you for attending our open house last weekend, it was a huge success! Starting this week, come to Fran’s House on Thursdays at 8pm to showcase your musical talent. We will have open mic night for our local artists with a 30 minute session. Each week you will have the opportunity to be the headliner for Saturday night’s show. Plus, you could be chosen by our national recording artist for the month to perform as the opener! How cool would that be to be jamming with the hottest bands? This is great opportunity to build a platform of your musical talents and possible connections.

You could be chosen to be the opening act for Nickelback on February 28!  Please call (715)990-1514 at least two days in advance to reserve your 30 minute session. Please arrive at least one hour before your stage time so you can check out the other musicians; also, we want you to be ready when it’s your turn so can keep the music and entertainment running smoothly.  Mic Night is open to solo musicians and bands alike. Come one, come all, and show us what you’ve got!
